MOCKERY OF INDIA

It all started on the evening of this Sunday. It was about 7:30pm. We were playing cricket in our street under street light. Suddenly shouts started coming from near by chownk. We all ran to the roof of my house as that chownk was clearly visible from there. People from nearby DALIT colony started gathering in the chownk. It was about 50meters away from our house. In 10 minutes about 200 people gathered there. They broke away the wooden gate of nearby shop, they took some more wood from here and there and set it to fire in the middle of the chownk. Then the mob started marching towards our house. We were all watching it. The mob started pelting stones on every shop on their way. They first attacked duggal eye hospital, then prem drycleaner and other shops. We were all so frightened at that time. We had no idea why they were doing all this. then they attacked our house with stones. Luckily our main gate was not by the side of main road where the mob was going, so no harm to us. But it was such a terrible night. Many of them were laughing and abusing. Then they passed our house and attacked kamal hospital which was about 50meters further from our house. They pelted stone on every car, scooter, home and even hospitals that came in their way. They didn’t even bothered that patients in the hospital can get injured. Then we came down and watched tv. Breaking news flashed on television “RELIGIOUS GURUS, GURU NIRANJAN DAAS AND GURU RAMMA NAND OF RAVIDAS SECT SHOT IN VIENA”.
All night news of dalits protesting against this shooting, destroying public and private property were coming. Next day there was a curfew in whole city. It was announced that no one is allowed to come out on streets. There were frequent patrolling by police in whole city. But people made fool of police. When police party would come, people would run to their homes, and when police party would go away, people would come out again and start abusing police. In mid of this curfew also, some reports of clashes between dalits and police were reported. People were not taking police seriously. At last military was called. When the situation was going out of control military fired some rounds. And two men were killed in that firing. There were reports of protests in ludhiana, fagwarah, Amritsar and nearby cities. People destroyed public and private property all over the Punjab. In jalandhar even the car of DSP was burnt by protestors. Many cars, buses, bikes, trucks were burnt. All this went on for the whole day.

What a mockery of system.

I was not able to sleep that night. Again and again it came in my mind that it is so easy to bring this country to a stand still, it was so easy in this country to harm public and private property. Any small incident can trigger a chain of violence in this country. In fact I truly believe that this incident of shooting in Viena was not a small one. But I think that no incident is so big that it can force people to come out and vandalize hospitals, attack private and public property. This was not for the first time. It had happened many times before also. Some years ago baba ram rahim wore the attire of GURU GOBIND SINGH JI, and made his followers drink jam-e-insaa. People of sikh community were so angry on this that they started protesting violently against this. whole of the Punjab and Haryana came to a stand still. public and private property worth crores of rupees was vandalized at that time also.
Here a question comes in my mind, Is this the correct way of protesting? Is it correct to justify destruction of life and property by saying , “We are protesting against the shooting in Viena”, or by saying ,“We are protesting against baba ram rahim?”. I don’t think so. In fact I don’t even believe in this kind of protesting as many of the protesters I have seen were laughing and consuming alcohol while their protest. This is not a protest.
There was a poor man I knew. He borrowed some money from here and there and bought a second hand taxi some days ago. He thought that he would earn money from that taxi and would repay his loan. His taxi was burnt in this violence. Now he have no source of income, and no source to repay his loans and a family of 6 to support. Now if some one shoot some one in a far away country, in this what is the fault of the man whose taxi was burnt? What is the fault of those people whose property was destroyed? What is the fault of those thousands of passengers who are struck on bus stands and railway stations all over Punjab? This is absolutely ridiculous. This is not the right way to protest. Their were protests in Viena also. But they were very peaceful.

In my every previous article, I have mentioned a problem and then I have tried to give a solution to that problem. But this time I m not able to figure out what could be the best possible solution for these vandals? U have any practical solution to this problem?? Plz discuss it in ur comments.

AMAZING INDIAN POLITICIANS

Recently we have seen elections in US. John McCain and Barack Hussain Obama were the main contestants. Both of them campaigned massively, spending millions of dollars. In the end Obama came out to be the clear winner. McCain conceded the race to presidential seat to Obama on 4th nov. he gave a speech in his home town Arizona. Here are some of the excerpts from that speech.

“A LITTLE WHILE AGO I HAD THE HONOR OF CALLING SENETOR OBAMA TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON BEING ELECTED THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY WE BOTH LOVE.” He said “I CONGRATULATE OBAMA FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY. I CONGRATULATE HIM FOR AWAKENING THE HOPES OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OF AMERICA”. And he also said “I WILL DO ALL IN MY POWER TO HELP HIM LEAD US THROUGH THE MANY CHALLENGES WE FACE TODAY”.

And Obama’s reply to this speech was:

“I FEEL PROUD TO HAVE FOUGHT THE ELECTIONS AGAINST SUCH A FINE PERSON. I REQUEST JOHN TO HELP ME IN REVIVING THE COUNTRY WE BOTH LOVE, BECAUSE WITHOUT HIS HELP I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE THINGS”.

Now that is called GRACEFULL POLITICS. During their campaigns also both of them never abused each other, never used any vulgar language against each other, and they never gave disrespectful personal comments against each other. They both fought with DIGNITY and one of them lost the election, with DIGNITY, and other won the elections with DIGNITY.

Now compare this with politics of India. Do our politicians stand any near to the words like DIGNITY, HONOR, GRACEFULL or COUNTRY LOVE? I don’t think so. In India almost every politician is busy in abusing others, using vulgar language against each other, giving personal comments against each other. Some where Narendar Modi is saying that our PM is very weak, he is incapable, he is this and he is that. Some where L.K. Advani is saying that our government is a lame duck government, Manmohan Singh is the weakest Prime Minister India ever had. Some where Varun Gandhi is saying “I will cut any hand that will rise against hindus”. Some where some congress leader saying I ll kill anyone who will try to attack minorities. Some where Sanjay Dutt saying “I will give JADU KI JHAPPI AND PAPPI to Mayawati”. Some where Sukhbir Badal asking “Who is Captain Amrinder Singh”, and Captain Amrinder Singh replying “I am ur BAAP”. And Sukhbir Badal replying that Captain is a mentally retarded person. If Captain Amrinder Singh wins the election, he finds some ways to harass Badal family and Akali Dal workers. If Badals win the elections, they would find some ways to harass Congress workers. This is just an example, this happens all over India.

I say what the f**k is this? Can we call this GRACEFUL or HONORABLE?? This is Indian politics. Our politicians don’t have words like DIGNITY, HONOR, GRACEFULL, RESPECT in their dictionary. Most of our politician believe in spreading hate for gaining political mileage for themselves.

But one can ask who are we to blame them for this? What authority do we have? YES, we are no one to blame them. It is our own weakness that these politicians are using. We are the one’s who listen to their silly hate speeches. We know these are silly and harmful for us, but what we do in return?? What we do is we vote for these politicians and bring them to power again, so that they can further spread hate.

Now we have an opportunity. I say that not all politicians are the same. In these elections vote for politicians who can spread love instead of hate, who can work out ways to improve their constituency instead of working out ways to harass their opposite party workers. Don’t vote for such politicians who are insulting India in front of the world.

Don’t vote for them, OR DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR DEEDS.

DEATH OF A HERO'S DREAM

Now we are living in a country named INDIA, also known as SONE KI CHIDIYA or MERA BHARAT DESH MAHAAN or MERA PYARA HINDUSTAN. It definitely feels good to hear these words about INDIA, but think once more, do our country deserve these words like MERA BHARAT DESH MAHAAN????
            I say, a big NO.
India deserved these words before independence, when Indians were slaves of Britishers. It was the time when all the Indians were united. All Indians at that time forgot their personal differences and fought for their country. That was a patriotic era. At that time there was no hindu, no muslim, no sikh. Every one was an Indian. They first belonged to India and then to their particular REGION or RELIGION. At that time our BHARAT DESH was MAHAAN. At that time it was MERA PYARA HINDUSTAN. At that time youngsters like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev were all from different places, but only one thing was in their mind, that they were Indians and their goal was to serve their nation. I am not saying that v were in better condition at that time. I am only comparing the mentality of common citizen of that period and today.
Now compare this with today. Some one is saying that its our state, biharis are not allowed in our state, some one is saying I am a Hindu and I ll not let any Muslim make a mosque in a hindu town, some one is saying I need a separate country like Pakistan. Some hindus r killing muslims, some hindus r killing Sikhs, some Sikhs are killing Hindus, some Muslims are killing Hindus.
It was the dream of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev that India should be free from britishers. And they died for their dream, they died for their beloved country-INDIA. At that time they were even younger than many of us. They had dreamed for equality for everyone in India, there should be no disparity among people on the basis of caste and creed. They had dreamed India free of corruption, religion politics and etc. Britishers’ policy was “divide and rule”. Britishers tried to divide hindus, muslims and Sikhs. But they were unsuccessful in their act because of people like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
But when I think about their dreams, I feel very disappointed and sad. When I think of their dreams, today’s India flashes before my eyes. Then only one thing comes in my mind that today their DREAM IS DEAD. Today we can say that we are free from british rule, but we are still slaves--slaves of politicians, slaves of corruption, slaves of liquor, slaves of red tapism, slaves of people who use us for their own good. Today politicians are using “divide and rule” policy to divide us. They are exploiting our emotional chords. They are using hate speeches against a religion to garner votes. Today our India is sinking in the sea of corruption. Youth is busy in drinking, fighting with each others and consuming other harmful substances.
If our great freedom fighters would have known that this will be the condition of India after freedom, then they must have thought once more before sacrificing their lives for INDIA.
Wake up Indians, still there is time. We can still change India. Lets bring another INQLAAB. Lets say no to bribery, dont give and don’t take bribe. Lets give it a damn this time and vote, and vote for a person who is honest and can bring about change. Lets promise ourselves that we will India and make India a country of their dreams. Lets make sure that those great freedom fighters, those HEROS, sitting and watching us from heaven, are not regretting their sacrifice

INQLAAB ZINDABAD

DONT LET POLITICIANS PLAY WITH HUMANITY

There are many black days in the history of Indian democracy. Here I am going to talk about only two of them:-

First was 1st nov1984 and second is 2nd april2009. 1st nov1984 was the day when anti sikh riots broke out in delhi after the assassination of then prime minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi by her two Sikh body guards. She was assassinated in an act of revenge of alleged attack by her army on Golden Temple, Amritsar. And 2ndapril2009 was the day when Jagdish Tytler was given clean chit by CBI. All of us know about those riots. But let me give a quick rewind of the events happened during that period.

1st nov1984:- Politically inspired mob attacked many sikh families. They carried iron rods, knives, swords, clubs, and combustible material, including kerosene. They got the addresses of sikh families from the voters’ list, allegedly provided by the politicians. The mob destroyed property of Sikhs and killed and raped thousands of sikh. The mob stopped buses and trains, took out each and every sikh they spotted, and mercilessly lynched them. They didn’t even spared women and children. Over 3000 sikhs were killed during 3 days. Hundreds of women were gang raped and killed mercilessly.

Many Congress leaders were involved in these riots. Jagdish Tytler was one of them. He incited a large mob of people to kill Sikhs and destroy their properties. His name was included in many affidavits filed by sikh victims.

2nd april2009:- CBI-the premier Investigation Agency of India, gave clean chit to Jagdish Tytler. CBI submitted a file in Supreme Court of India, which requested Supreme Court to cancel the FIR registered against Jagdish Tytler. According to CBI there was no adequate evidence against him.

CBI failed to live up to the expectations of thousands of riot victims, who were expecting justice. This is not right.

Lets stand up together and raise a voice against such political leaders who have no respect for humanity. I am not talking particularly about Jagdish Tytler or particularly about anti-Sikh riots. I am talking about 1980-Moradabad riots(in which 2000 people died), 1981-Biharsharif riots(100 people died), 1987-Meerut riots(350 people died), 1989-Bhagalpur riots(1000 people died), 1992-Mumbai riots and 2002-Gujrat riots and all the riots that took place in past. If we don’t do something now, then it may happen to us. I am not targeting Jagdish Tytler or any political party, I am targeting here all those political leaders who have no value of human life. Lets stand up together and promise to ourselves that we will never get politically motivated by politicians and we will not do any inhuman act done in past, and we will never let any political leader or anyone go against human values.. If everyone of us will promise ourselves not to harm anyone, then all of us will live in a peaceful India, a country that great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh dreamed of.

(in this post I am not saying that assassination of Indira Gandhi was right. It was an act of National sorrow and National shame)
